Does anyone else have a sugar hangover today? OMFG! I kinda got chocolate wasted yesterday. But today is a new day and I’m ready for a sugar detox. I’m all about a healthy lifestyle that includes exercise and healthy eating, but I also like to incorporate cheat days and cheat meals. I need to live a little! So, if you’re not able to make it to the gym today and only have a small window of time to get a quick workout in, try this quick calorie burning workout to get your body back in line. Also, detox from all that sugar by sticking to healthy greens and lean protein. I’m going for a fully plant based diet today…because thats what works for my body. Today is a new day! Lets make it a great day!
What you need
small towel, weight of your choice
Warmup
Warm up with 45seconds – 1 minute of jumping jacks.
Do a yoga flow with upward and downward dog for about a minute or so.
Workout
Do 4 rounds- 1 minute of each exercise followed by 1 minute of rest in between rounds.
1 minute of Squats (make them jumping or power squats for an extra challenge)
1 minute Russian Twists
1 minute Burpees
1 minute lunges(do jumping lunges to add an extra challenge)
1 minutes planks to knee ins (feet on towel on surface you can slide on)
Finish workout with a plank till failure.
